I was born in Sivas, a cold yet beautiful city. I completed my primary education in Sivas, my middle school education in Aydın Söke, and my high school education in Muğla Yatağan. After graduating from Hacettepe University Faculty of Education with a degree in Chemistry (German) Teaching in 2001, I continued my postgraduate studies in Secondary Science and Mathematics Education at the same university, completing my master’s degree in 2004. I began my doctoral studies at Gazi University in 2010 but decided to continue at Hacettepe University Institute of Educational Sciences in 2012. I completed my doctoral education in 2021, focusing my dissertation on e-learning and metacognitive awareness. My area of expertise is science and mathematics education. Since 2002, I have been working as a teacher and administrator. In 2007, I founded Vona Education, where we provide special education and rehabilitation services as well as various educational and consultancy services. In 2018, we combined the knowledge and experience we had accumulated as Vona Special Education since 2007 with the PERA Culture. As the founder of PERA Ankara, I have been working with children who develop differently and are at risk. Additionally, we continue teacher training within our organization. Between 2018 and 2019, I served as the Vice President of the Ankara Business and Professional Women’s Association (BPW-Ankara), of which I was a member. Between 2015 and 2019, I also served as Vice President of the Private Education Institutions Association, a sectoral organization. I continue my advocacy for ensuring inclusive, equitable, and quality education for all and for achieving gender equality through various projects and initiatives. I am married and the mother of Çınar and Derin. After completing the Primary School Teaching program at Giresun Faculty of Education, I worked in various provinces across our country. Later, in 1996, I started working as a teacher at Doğan Çağlar Orthopedic Disabled School, which was part of the first special education complex in Turkey. In 2004, I changed my field and transitioned into special education teaching. Since then, I have served as a teacher, administrator, and founding principal in private special education schools. Additionally, I participated in studies within the Ankara Provincial Directorate of National Education’s Special Education Coordination Group. Some of these included organizing an airplane tour over Ankara for special children with Türk Kuşu, a picnic and entertainment event at Hasanoğlan Village Institute for 3,000 special children and their families, and a charity event involving all special education institutions across Ankara. At the schools I worked in, I collaborated on numerous joint projects with European countries within the scope of EU-supported projects. In 2019, I retired and joined Pera Ankara as the coordinator of the institution’s Early Intervention and Autism Unit. I have attended and continue to attend training programs, congresses, and seminars where I can update my knowledge in the field and share my experiences. Starting the day with play alongside the little ones in our institution and watching them progress step by step is my greatest joy. With the hope that my energy for play never fades, I welcome each new day with excitement. I was born on July 5, 1996, in Istanbul. I graduated from Hacettepe University with a degree in Psychology in 2019. During my undergraduate years, I worked as a research assistant in psychology laboratories. Throughout this period, I wrote academic articles and conducted experimental research analyses using the SPSS program. During my psychology studies, I actively participated in congresses and symposiums, taking on significant roles in organizing committees. I completed my internship as a forensic psychologist in children’s and family courts, where I conducted individual sessions with children, families, and couples. In 2020, I had my first professional experience at a private institution, conducting individual sessions with adolescents and their families and developing structured personal programs. In 2021, I completed my master’s degree in “Family and Marriage Counseling” at Yıldırım Beyazıt University. I earned the title of Specialist Psychologist after completing my research project titled “Sexual Dysfunction in Married Couples.” In 2022, I attended the “Partner Violence Panel” organized by Psikoloji İstanbul and presented by Dr. John and Dr. Julie Gottman. In 2023, I received the “Play Therapy Practitioner Training and Supervision” under Specialist Psychologist Hülya Üstekidağ at Başkent Psychology Workshop, earning the title of Play Therapist. As part of the “Technology Leaders 100 Mentorship Program,” a six-month project by the Women in Technology Association, I volunteered as a mentor in 2024. In December 2024, I expanded my field applications by completing the “Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Applications for Children and Adolescents” training led by Dr. Nevin Dölek at Başkent Psychology Workshop. Since September 2021, I have been working as a Specialist Psychologist at Pera Ankara.

I was born on February 14, 2000, in Erzincan. After completing my primary and secondary education in Erzincan, I moved to Ankara in 2019 for my university education. I began my undergraduate studies at Ankara University and graduated in 2023, ranking fourth in my department. Throughout my undergraduate years, I had the opportunity to take courses from esteemed professors and gain internship experience in various fields. During my internships in preschool education, special education, and city hospitals, I worked closely with children in different settings, gaining hands-on experience and developing the ability to approach situations from multiple perspectives. To further enhance my knowledge during my student years, I attended various conferences and participated in the “Everyday Parenting: The ABCs of Child Rearing” course offered by Yale University. This three-month online program helped me better understand international approaches to child development, which I successfully completed. In my personal life, I enjoy playing tennis, reading books, and exploring new places. After starting my professional career, I pursued training to become a DIR Floortime therapist, believing it would contribute significantly to my clinical development. In 2024, I became a certified Floortime therapist. I am currently continuing my professional career at Pera Ankara.

I was born on September 21, 2000. As a speech and language therapist, I work to help individuals improve their communication skills and make a meaningful impact on their lives. In 2019, I took a strong step in my academic journey by gaining admission to the Speech and Language Therapy program at Hacettepe University. Throughout my undergraduate education, I completed both voluntary and mandatory internships in various institutions to reinforce my theoretical knowledge. During this process, I had the opportunity to work directly with individuals, gaining a deeper understanding of their needs and developing effective therapy methods. After four years of intensive and rewarding education, I graduated with honors in 2023. During my studies, I participated in numerous training programs and seminars to support my professional development. I completed key certifications in the field, including ETEÇOM, Floortime 101, and GOBDÖ-2, enhancing my expertise. Following my graduation, I began my professional career in August 2023 at Pera Special Education Center, where I focus on working with children with developmental differences, aiming to bring positive changes to their lives. Alongside my professional work, I pursued further specialization and obtained my Floortime 201 certification, allowing me to develop play-based approaches tailored to children’s individual needs. These training programs provided me with valuable perspectives in delivering personalized and effective therapy interventions. During my university years, I took on leadership roles in student representation, which strengthened my sense of responsibility and allowed me to play an active role in various communities. These experiences helped me develop both leadership and teamwork skills. Beyond my academic and professional achievements, my greatest motivation has always been the desire to establish meaningful connections with people and make a difference in their lives. Looking ahead, I am committed to continuous professional development by engaging in new training programs and further specializing in the field of speech and language therapy. By staying up to date with current approaches in the field, I will continue to work with dedication to support children’s communication skills and make a meaningful impact on their lives.

I was born on October 21, 1994, in Sivas. I am a proud mother of two cats. I completed my primary and secondary education in Sivas, staying with my family. During my secondary education, I developed an interest in art and took violin lessons. I pursued my university studies in the Child Development department at Ankara University. Throughout my university years, I participated in both national and international projects, working with children. From the beginning of my university education, I attended various training programs in special education and child development. I completed the Creative Drama Leadership program at the Contemporary Drama Institute and started my professional career as a Creative Drama Leader. Later, I specialized in the field of special education, working for three years at Çankaya Özem Special Education and Rehabilitation Center before joining Pera Special Education Center in 2023. I was born on November 28, 1989, in Ankara. I am married and a mother of one child. Since childhood, I have been passionate about helping people and making a difference in children’s lives. This passion has been the strongest source of motivation shaping my life. Throughout my education, I have always been a determined and successful student. My interest in child development led me to pursue education in this field at Dikmen Nevzat Ayaz Anatolian Vocational High School (2003-2007). I then completed my associate degree in Child Development at Kırıkkale University (2008-2010) with high honors. I did not stop there; I took another step toward my dreams by completing my Preschool Teaching undergraduate studies at Abant İzzet Baysal University (2010-2012). To further strengthen my expertise, I completed my master’s degree in Special Education at Necmettin Erbakan University (2014-2016), enhancing my academic development. For my research project, I focused on “Assessing the Mathematics Performance of Inclusive Students in Grades 1-4.” Through this project, I identified the challenges teachers face in teaching mathematics in inclusive education classrooms and developing individualized education programs (IEPs) while offering solutions to improve these processes. I began my professional career in 2012 at Selvi Special Education and Rehabilitation Center. Over five years, I worked tirelessly to contribute to individuals’ developmental progress. Between 2017 and 2021, I continued my career at Gazi Efe Special Education and Rehabilitation Center, achieving numerous successes in the field of education. Making a positive impact on my students’ lives has always been my top priority. To continuously improve myself, I have attended various training programs and certification courses, specializing in Speech and Language Therapy, Drama, Communication Skills, and Body Language. Additionally, I hold certifications in the Lila Special Education Program, İş Çözüm Training Program, and Autism ABA Therapy. During my studies, I completed internships in various departments of multiple hospitals in Ankara. The year I graduated, I started working at Ankara Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Hospital. After many years of working in child-adult rehabilitation and physical therapy departments, I retired. Following my retirement, I joined Pera Special Education Institution and have been working there since 2010. I am married and a mother of two children.

During my university years, I had the opportunity to participate in events and social activities as a member of the Hacettepe University Child Development and Education Community (HÜÇGET). Throughout my associate and bachelor’s education, I gained hands-on experience through internships in nurseries, daycare centers, preschools, hospitals, and special education and rehabilitation centers. After completing my university education, I started working at Pera Çankaya Special Education and Rehabilitation Center. During this period, I received training in the Denver II Developmental Screening Test and became a certified Denver II practitioner.

In 2022, I graduated from the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation department at İnönü University. During my undergraduate studies, I gained both theoretical knowledge and practical experience through mandatory and voluntary internships in various hospitals and special education and rehabilitation centers. In 2023, I started working at PERA Ankara. I was born in 1970 in Çorum. I completed my primary and secondary education at Gazi High School in Ankara. In 1994, I graduated from Anadolu University with a degree in Business Administration. After graduation, I worked in the accounting department at Enerji A.Ş. for 11 years. I left my job due to childbirth. In 2012, I started working as an Administrative Coordinator at Pera Special Education and Rehabilitation Center. I have completed MEB-approved computer training, English courses, and accounting courses. I am currently working at the Pera Special Education Institutions Ankara branch.

Born on August 14, 2002, in Hatay, I completed my education in Hatay until university and then moved to Ankara for higher education. During my university years, I participated in various student exchange programs, traveling to different countries, experiencing diverse cultures, and gaining insights into various lifestyles. During middle and high school, I actively engaged in various sports, which helped me develop teamwork, collaboration, and social skills. After being admitted to Hacettepe University’s Special Education Teaching program in 2020, I focused more on academic and artistic activities. I completed my internship at a Practice School, where I had the opportunity to collaborate with experienced and highly skilled educators in the field of Special Education. I was born on July 4, 2002, in Tekirdağ, where I also completed my primary and secondary education. During this period, I focused on improving my foreign language skills. After my final year of high school and university entrance exam preparation, I was admitted to the Child Development Department at Hacettepe University Faculty of Health Sciences. During my studies, I conducted research on my field and related disciplines to enhance my knowledge and skills. In my second year, I relocated to Ankara. With the start of my practical internships in my second year, I began to develop professionally. Through my participation in the Hacettepe University Child Development and Education Community (HÜÇGET) and Hempa Children’s Association, I had the opportunity to socialize with my peers for three years. Additionally, I took on an active role at the 5th International Child Development Congress. During my third and fourth years, I gained experience working with children through both voluntary and mandatory internships in preschools, clinics, and special education institutions. As a result of these experiences, I decided to pursue a career in special education. After graduating as a high honors student, I began my job search and eventually started working as a child development specialist at Pera Special Education and Rehabilitation Center. After completing specialist teaching training, I continued my professional career as a special education instructor. During this time, I also received training in the Denver II Developmental Screening Test and became a certified Denver II practitioner.

I was born in 1967 in Ankara, the year audiology education started in Turkey. I completed my primary and secondary education in neighborhood schools near our home. In 1985, I graduated from Ankara University Health Sciences College. That same year, I began my Psychology undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Language, History, and Geography. During my university education, I worked as a nurse at İbn-i Sina Hospital’s Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Clinic. I graduated as a psychologist in 1989. In 1990, I began my master’s degree in Audiology and Speech Disorders at Ankara University Health Sciences Institute and graduated in 1994 with the title of specialist. For 24 years, I worked as an audiology and speech disorders specialist at the Hearing, Speech, and Balance Unit within Ankara University’s ENT Department, a place I was always proud to be a part of. During this period, I had the privilege of receiving training from esteemed professors at Ankara University’s ENT Department and Hacettepe University’s Audiology and Speech Disorders Department, including the late Prof. Dr. Soner Özkan and my dear mentor Prof. Dr. Erol Belgin. After 24 years of service, I retired from İbn-i Sina Hospital in 2013. Since 2013, I have been a part of the Pera family, a distinguished institution in the field of special education and rehabilitation. Over the years, I have dedicated myself to making a meaningful impact on the lives of special children and their families. I am a proud mother of two children. Once I complete my mission in special education, if life permits, I dream of moving to a coastal town in the Aegean region to write books about special children. BARRIERS CAN BE OVERCOME IN THE STRONGEST AND MOST MEANINGFUL WAY WITH LOVE AND EFFORT.

In 2013, I graduated from the Child Development and Education department in secondary education. I completed my high school internship at the DSİ Child Care Center. During my high school years, I attended classical guitar courses and received drama training at Müjdat Gezen Art Center. In 2014, I was awarded a full scholarship to study Preschool Teaching at Başkent University, where I completed a one-year English preparatory program. During my university education, I received Autism Educator Training and worked with children on the autism spectrum during the summer, organizing sports and art activities. I also attended seminars on Creativity in Children, Children’s Drawing Analysis and Interpretation, Integration of Special Needs Children into Society, and Children’s Rights in Early Childhood Education. To stay updated with current knowledge in my field, I participated in various symposiums and congresses. After completing my university education, I spent three months in the United States to improve my foreign language skills and gain new experiences. In 2020, I started working at PERA Special Education and Rehabilitation Center. In 2021, I completed the Special Education Institutions Specialist Instructor Training Course, organized by the Ministry of National Education (MEB), and have since been working as a Special Education Specialist Instructor. I was born in 2000 in Istanbul. After completing my high school education at Ankara Binnaz Ege Rıdvan Ege Anatolian High School, I graduated from the Audiology Department at Hacettepe University in 2024. During my undergraduate studies, I participated in the Erasmus program to enhance my academic knowledge and gain international experience. As part of this program, I studied for one semester at Hogeschool van Amsterdam in the Netherlands and completed my summer internship in Italy, gaining hands-on experience in audiology at an international level. Additionally, I worked as a trainee audiologist at Hacettepe University and Bilkent City Hospital, further developing my practical skills in hearing and balance health. Apart from these experiences, I successfully completed the “Developmental Language and Speech Disorders: Assessment and Therapy Certification Program” and a certified Neuroscience course organized by the Neuroscience Society. To stay updated on the latest advancements in my field, I have attended numerous national and international conferences. I am currently continuing my master’s degree in Audiology at Hacettepe University, further advancing my academic and professional knowledge.
